TONY PERILLO Peacefully on January 17, 2006, surrounded by his family, Tony lost his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 45. Tony will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Eileen and children, Tyler and Brenlee. He also leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Vincenzo and Filomena Perillo; grandmother Lucia Perillo; sisters, Lucy Perillo, Rosa Daniels (Colin); in-laws Dolores, Gunther, Sylvia, Gordon (Joanne), Kathy (Stephen), Leonard, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grand-parents, Antonio Perillo, Nicola and Rosa Zifarelli, Uncle Alfonso and Aunt Maria. Tony was born in Red Lake, ON and moved to Winnipeg at the age of 17. It was at Daniel Mac Collegiate where Tony first met Eileen. They soon became best of friends and remained that way forever. They married on August 30, 1996 and together they created a loving home for their children. Tony was a long time employee at Pratt's Wholesale where he was well respected and loved by all. Tony will be remembered for his many fine qualities, especially his sense of humour, kind nature, generosity, and true spirit. He was truly the life of the party! We all have fond memories of gatherings with friends and family in warm confines of the Perillo kitchen. Eileen and Tony enjoyed traveling together and were able to visit many exotic destinations with their children. Other favourite past times of Tony's were camping, golfing and socializing with family and friends. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his children. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all who helped with Tony's care. Special thanks to neighbours, family, friends and co-workers who supported us through this difficult time. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Alphonsus Parish, 300 Donalda Ave. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Parish, 300 Donalda Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Trust Fund for the Perillo Family Children Tyler and Brenlee, at any Astra Credit Union in Winnipeg or Cancer Care Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. I'll be okay. Be strong! THOMSON IN THE PARK Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd - 925-1120 (between Pembina and Waverley)

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dad, 7 years has gone by and not a minute passes where I do not think of you. Your laugh, smile and the way you would get mad at me for the little things and I would tell you to relax. I wish I could just talk to you again and hear your voice but I know that won't happen. Things just don't seem the same with you not here. I wish there was something I could do but there isn't. I miss you dad all I have is good and wholesome memories of the times and trips we have had. May your soul and body rest. I know you're watching over our family. I love you dad always have and always will. I lOVE YOU MY FATHER - Posted by: Tyler Perillo (My Father) on: Apr 02, 2013
